What is the significance of elaborating with the phrase "while he was conversing with him" after "his companion said to him" in Surat Al-Kahf, and is it permissible to supplicate for the removal of blessings from a disobedient person because they are the cause of his temptation, as occurred in the supplication of the believing companion against his disbelieving companion in verses (34) and (37) of Surat Al-Kahf?

Dialogue is a review of speech between interlocutors. Al-Biqa'i and Ibn Ashour mentioned that the dialogue in the verses was between the profligate brother, who would engage his brother in conversation out of pride and denigration, and the Muslim, who would dialogue with him by way of admonition and denigration of relying on worldly life. As for supplicating for the removal of blessings from those who use them for disobedience, it is permissible, like the supplication of the Prophet Moses against Pharaoh. However, it is preferable to supplicate for their guidance first. If they persist in error, then it is permissible to supplicate against them.
