Does the warning of "the curse of Allah, the angels, and all people" for one who commits a sin in Medina include every transgression, whether minor or major?

The prohibition of "innovating" (احداث) in Medina is mentioned in noble prophetic hadiths that threaten those who do so with a curse. Scholars have differed on the meaning of "whoever innovates an innovation" (من أحدث حدثًا). Some said it includes every sin, while others held that it specifically refers to what is indicated by the custom of the Lawgiver and the people. It is most likely that "innovation" (الإحداث) covers two main matters: the first is injustice, crimes, and inciting discord (fitna), and the second is innovation in religion (bid‘ah). As for mere disobedience in Medina, although its sin is greater, it does not necessitate the curse mentioned in the hadiths, which is specific to whoever innovates a bid‘ah or incites fitna.
