Is it permissible to use cosmetics and paints that temporarily enlarge the lips for adornment on special occasions? And is this considered altering Allah's creation, or is it comparable to colored contact lenses?

Allah has permitted a woman to adorn herself for her husband, in front of other women, and before her mahrams, provided it does not violate Islamic law. Therefore, anything that harms the body or alters Allah's creation, such as tattooing teeth, plucking eyebrows (namṣ), or tattooing, is impermissible. This includes lip augmentation with creams, as it constitutes an alteration of creation. However, if lip augmentation is temporary, wears off after a short period (an hour or two), and causes no harm, then there is no objection to it. This is similar to using cosmetic products that color the skin and then fade away.
