Is it permissible to continue designing and distributing free Islamic PowerPoint presentations using pirated (non-genuine) software, given the inability to purchase the original versions?

Some scholars have forbidden copying computer programs whose owners do not permit their duplication, whether these owners are Muslims or non-belligerent disbelievers, because the rights of a non-belligerent disbeliever are to be respected. However, if one is compelled to copy such programs due to the unavailability of the original version or an inability to purchase it, then it is permissible to copy them for personal use only, provided that this does not become a means of earning money or engaging in trade, and that it is limited to the extent of the need. Some scholars have permitted purchasing copies of programs that have been extensively duplicated and circulated among people, where it is highly probable that the producing company has covered the project costs and made a profit.
