Do the owners of an e-commerce platform that allows the sale of "food boxes" containing ingredients forbidden by Sharia bear the sin of that, and what is the Sharia ruling if conditions are imposed to prevent the sale of these forbidden items, or if sellers do not adhere to these conditions, or if the forbidden ingredients are mentioned without being sent?

It is permissible to create a self-service trading platform and rent it out to stores for a known fee or a percentage, provided that the stores' activities are permissible. If the platform is for a "food box," the stores must commit not to sell prohibited items such as pork, unslaughtered meat, or alcoholic beverages. They must also undertake not to mention or write about them. The contract of anyone who violates this condition should be terminated or not renewed. If some store owners violate this without the knowledge of the platform owners, there is no sin upon them. It is also necessary to prevent the inclusion of prohibited items in food recipes and to list them, as Allah Almighty says: (And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression. And fear Allah; indeed, Allah is severe in penalty) Al-Ma'idah/2.
