Is it permissible to eat the meat slaughtered by those who insult God and the Companions and believe in the distortion of the Quran, and to pray behind them?

The transgressions that lead one out of Islam are: reviling Allah Almighty, mocking religion or its rewards or punishments, shirk (polytheism), and reviling the Companions in a way that impugns their uprightness and faith; because they are the bearers of the Quran and the callers to Islam, and Allah has purified them and was pleased with them, and the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, warned against reviling them. So, whoever reviles the Companions, or claims that many of them apostatized, or reviles Abu Bakr and Umar, or Aisha, or believes in the incompleteness of the Quran, or that Jibreel erred in conveying the message, is an apostate disbeliever; prayer behind him is not permissible, marriage to him is invalid, and eating of his slaughtered animal is not permissible. As for one who belongs to those who revile the Companions, but does not revile them himself or hold their false beliefs, he is to be treated as a Muslim after confirming that.
