Does engaging in sexual intercourse with one's divorced wife after returning from Hajj invalidate the Hajj, and what are the consequences of that?

A divorced woman becomes unlawful to her husband upon the completion of her waiting period (iddah) in a revocable divorce, and immediately upon the divorce in an irrevocable divorce. If a man has intercourse with her after she has become unlawful to him, this is fornication (zina) which incurs Allah's wrath and punishment. He must sincerely repent and perform many righteous deeds. Allah Almighty says: "And establish prayer at the two ends of the day and at the approach of the night. Indeed, good deeds do away with evil deeds. That is a reminder for those who remember." And the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Fear Allah wherever you are, and follow up a bad deed with a good deed which will wipe it out, and behave with good character towards people." This act does not affect the validity of the Hajj if the Hajj was sound and fulfilled all its conditions and pillars.
