What is the ruling concerning a wife who arrived from her country, in a state of ihram for Hajj, and to renew her residency permit, on the seventh of Dhul-Hijjah, and her husband had intercourse with her?

If a woman engages in intercourse while ignorant of its prohibition during ihram, then there is nothing upon her, and she completes her Hajj. However, if she was aware of its prohibition, then her Hajj is invalidated, and she must proceed with her invalidated Hajj, perform a compensatory Hajj the following year, and sacrifice a large animal (badanah) in Mecca, along with the necessity of repentance.
