Is my Hajj valid or invalid after I had intercourse with my husband while forgetful and in a state of Ihram, and then fasted three days as expiation?

If intercourse occurred due to forgetfulness of being in the state of ihram (definition), there is no sin or expiation upon the woman who did it. Her 'Umrah (definition), which she performed as tamattu' for Hajj, is valid, and she is not required to go to Al-Tan'im. This is because the preponderant opinion is that whoever commits a prohibited act while in the state of ihram out of forgetfulness or ignorance bears no responsibility, based on the words of Allah Almighty: "Our Lord, do not take us to task if we forget or make a mistake." It has been reported from Ibn 'Uthaymin that whoever commits a prohibited act out of ignorance, forgetfulness, or compulsion bears no responsibility, and none of the rulings pertaining to intercourse apply unless the person was aware, mindful, and not compelled.
