Should a video clip of a former preacher's conversion to Islam for the encouragement of Christians continue to be sent, even though the Shaykh says: "The Qur'an that is in our hands is not the Qur'an; rather, it is a Mushaf"?

The statement that what is in the Mushaf (definition) is not the Qur’an, but rather a narration or an expression of it, contradicts the consensus of the Salaf and the Imams that the Qur’an, wherever it is found, is the speech of Allah, whether recited by the tongue, or written in the Musahif, or memorized in the hearts. This verbal speech is the speech of Allah, not merely the meaning, as the noble verses indicate that people hear the speech of Allah and the Qur’an.

The Qur’an is the uncreated speech of Allah, His revelation, and His descent. Whoever says it is created is a disbeliever. It is what Gabriel brought down to the Messenger, peace and blessings be upon him, and the Messenger conveyed it to his nation. It is memorized in the hearts, recited by tongues, and written in the Musahif.

The preacher should be advised, the truth clarified to him, and the misconception removed from him.

If the preacher's recorded clips are beneficial in inviting Christians to Islam, there is no harm in giving them to them, as the benefit of their embracing Islam is greater. They can be followed up after their conversion to teach them the correct creed. If there are clips by preachers who adhere purely to the Sunnah (definition), then disseminating them is preferable.
