What is the view of the Sunnis and the Community (Ahlus-Sunnah wal-Jama’ah), and what are their proofs from the Qur’an and Sunnah, regarding the claim of transmigration of souls (tanasukh al-arwah) adopted by some followers of the Druze religion, and their arguments for it?

Ibn Hazm stated in "Al-Fasl fil-Milal" that those who believe in the transmigration of souls make claims and superstitions without evidence. To refute those among them who attribute themselves to Islam, the consensus of Muslims on their disbelief is sufficient, and that recompense only occurs after the souls depart from the bodies and then reunite with them in the afterlife. As for the materialists, their statement is false due to its lack of rational or sensory proof. Allah created species and genera, and separated each type from the other with a distinct characteristic unique to it, and this characteristic is the soul. As for the sect that believes in the transmigration of souls to bodies of their own kind, their claim is refuted by the fact that the world is temporal and has a beginning and an end, and that prophecies contradict their assertion. Moreover, there are no two things that are perfectly alike in all their attributes, for every soul has its own unique characteristics that distinguish it from others.
