Why is the testimony of two women considered equal to that of one man?

Testimony means knowing that what is testified to is established, true, and real. Allah permitted the multiple testimony of women because one might forget, and the other would remind her, as the memory of two women is equivalent to the memory of one man. Men are generally more complete than women, but some women surpass many men in intellect and management, though this is rare. The ruling is for the most common case, as men excel in religious and worldly sciences. Women excel over men in other aspects, such as tenderness, compassion, childcare, and household management. Islam has given special care to women and has made it obligatory for children to be dutiful to them. Each gender should work in its specialized field, while adhering to Islamic guidelines.
