What is the ruling on separating embryos to produce male twins via IVF?

There is no objection to determining the sex of the fetus through IVF if the woman is unable to conceive naturally, provided the regulations for IVF are observed. However, if she is able to conceive naturally, it is not permissible to resort to IVF for sex determination except out of a therapeutic necessity for hereditary diseases that affect females. It is permissible to follow natural methods for sex determination, such as diet and timing of intercourse.
