Is marriage to the aforementioned young man forbidden if it is to take place with his parents' consent despite their reluctance?

If the parents command their son to marry a specific woman, he must obey them. If he disobeys them and marries without their consent, the marriage is valid, but he is disobedient. It is not permissible for the son to pressure his parents into consenting, as this causes harm, which is considered disobedience. The son must deal kindly with his parents and use good methods to obtain their approval, seek assistance from wise individuals, and frequently supplicate. If the parents agree to the marriage reluctantly, this does not affect the validity of the marriage. If the marriage is facilitated, then praise be to Allah. Otherwise, she should pray for provision of someone else and sever her relationship with him.
