Is it permissible for a man to dye abundant white hair at a young age?

The majority of scholars agree on the impermissibility of dyeing hair black for both men and women. Ishaq ibn Rahawayh, however, held the view that it is permissible for a woman to do so for her husband, as a means of adornment. Some scholars permitted it for young people, citing the action of Ibn Shihab, who used to dye his hair black in his youth. The more preponderant view is that dyeing hair black is forbidden for everyone, whether old or young, married or otherwise, while dyeing with colors other than black is permissible.
