This hadith is not found in the books of Sunnah, and it is most likely fabricated. As for Ibn Al-Jawzi's mention of it in his book, it was for illustrative purposes, not as a narration, and he knew that it was not authentically attributable to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. There is no authentic hadith about the virtue of a woman who dies without marrying, except for what has been reported about the virtue of patience, and she is among the patient and those who seek reward from Allah. Sheikh Ibn 'Uthaymeen was asked about the fate of a woman who died without marrying, and he replied that she will be in Paradise, where she will find whatever her soul desires and whatever delights her eyes. She will marry what makes her happy; she might marry from the people of this world, or from peoples whom Allah will create for Paradise. He cited the Almighty's saying: (And for you therein is whatever your souls desire, and for you therein is whatever you request).
