What are the ways to reform society and transform it into an Islamic society in light of the current divisions and conflicts?

Al-Shafi'i and Ibn Al-Qayyim hold the view that Surat Al-Asr specifies the factors for societal reform, which are four stages:

1. Knowing the truth (faith).

2. Acting upon the truth (righteous deeds).

3. Teaching the truth to others (enjoining the truth).

4. Persevering in the truth, acting upon it, and teaching it (enjoining patience).

These stages represent the perfection of an individual within themselves and their role in perfecting others, and the reform of the individual leads to the reform of society.
