What is the ruling on the follower (ma'mum) reciting aloud (tasmi') in the Maliki school of thought?

Reciting "Sami'a Allahu liman hamidah" (Allah hears the one who praises Him) when rising from bowing is not legislated for the congregant according to the Malikis. Rather, it is legislated for the Imam, and it is legislated for the congregant to say "Rabbana wa lakal-hamd" (Our Lord, and to You be praise). As for the one praying alone, he combines both. Furthermore, it is permissible for the reciter who relays the Imam's words (raises his voice with the takbir and the like) to do so, according to the Malikis, if there is a need for it.
