Does what a person feels of bad luck and despair justify their thinking about suicide, especially with their patience running out due to their prayers not being answered?

A Muslim must submit to Allah's decree, for He is more merciful to His servants than a mother is to her child. His choice is better than a servant's choice for himself. One should have a good opinion of Allah, draw closer to Him through obligatory acts and supererogatory deeds, and trust in Allah's relief and proximity, knowing that indeed, with hardship [will come] ease. The more one's piety towards Allah increases, the closer relief will be. One should beware of suicide, frequently engage in remembrance (dhikr), recite the Quran, and supplicate. One should avoid unlawful things in food and drink, associate with righteous people, and reflect on Allah's blessings upon him.
