Does sin accrue to one who curses a suicide victim in Ramadan, and is expiation required for that?

Suicide is one of the most severely prohibited forms of self-killing, and it is a cause for damnation and deprivation from Paradise. Muslims are obligated to pray over the deceased and to ask for mercy and forgiveness for them. It is not permissible to curse the dead, especially if they were Muslim, because it harms the living. One must repent to Allah, seek forgiveness, show mercy to the deceased, and increase in righteous deeds.
