What is the ruling on intentionally killing oneself while the killer repents and is ignorant of the deceased's family?

Unjustly taking a life, which Allah has forbidden, is one of the gravest sins. The repentance of the killer is accepted if he repents with sincere repentance. Along with repentance, an expiation is obligatory upon him, which is the freeing of a believing slave. If he does not find one, then it is fasting for two consecutive months. If the victim's guardians choose retribution (qisas), the expiation is waived, and the killing itself serves as expiation for him. Furthermore, the blood money (diyah) is immediately due from the killer's wealth if the victim's guardians do not pardon him. If there are no guardians, or if they are hostile disbelievers, the blood money is paid to the Muslim treasury (Bayt al-Mal), or disbursed to the poor and needy with the intention of charity on behalf of the deceased.
