What is the ruling on a worshipper making only one supplication in each prostration during prayer, so as not to become weary or burden the congregants?

Supplicating (Du'a) during prostration is a Sunnah (recommended act), not an obligation, and the prayer is valid without it. It is recommended for the Imam to supplicate briefly, out of consideration for the congregants.

Glorifying Allah (Tasbih) during prostration is a Sunnah according to the majority of scholars, and the essence of the Sunnah is fulfilled with a single glorification.

The minimum perfection is for the worshipper to say: "Subhana Rabbiyal-Adheem (Glory be to my Lord, the Most Great)" three times during bowing, and "Subhana Rabbiyal-A'la (Glory be to my Lord, the Most High)" three times during prostration.

Increasing glorifications beyond three is recommended for an individual praying alone. However, an Imam should not exceed this number unless the congregants agree to a longer prayer and are limited in number.
