The answer

The aforementioned hadith was narrated marfu'an (attributed to the Prophet) with asanid (chains of narration) that are not authentic. Among them are the hadith of Anas, Ibn Abbas, and Abu Hurairah, all of which are either very weak or fabricated due to containing narrators who are matrukun (abandoned), majhulun (unknown), or accused of fabrication. The narration was also transmitted as a saying of Ibn Abbas without being attributed to the Prophet (peace be upon him), and it is probable that he heard it from the People of the Book. It was also narrated as a saying of Ka'b al-Ahbar, Nawf al-Bakali, and Qatadah, some of which have weak isnad, and some of which Qatadah received from some of the People of the Book. In conclusion, the hadith cannot be authentically attributed to the Prophet (peace be upon him); at most, it is among the narrations of the People of the Book.
