What is the ruling on insulting Makkah Al-Mukarramah and Palestine, and is it permissible to seek Allah's pleasure upon the Companions?

It is recommended to express satisfaction and mercy upon the Companions, the Tabi'un (followers), and subsequent scholars and righteous individuals. One may say: "May Allah be pleased with him," or "May Allah have mercy upon him," or "May Allah bestow His mercy upon him." Indeed, Allah was pleased with the first and foremost of the Emigrants and the Helpers, and those who followed them in goodness, as well as with the believers who pledged allegiance to the Messenger under the tree.
