The answer

The husband must, by consensus, equalize the nights spent with his wives, based on the Almighty's saying: "And live with them in kindness," and His saying: "So do not incline [to one] with extreme inclination, leaving her as if suspended."

Abu Hurairah narrated that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever has two wives and inclines to one of them over the other, will come on the Day of Resurrection with one of his sides leaning."

It is forbidden for the husband to spend the night with one of the wives on a night that belongs to another, unless there is disobedience (nushuz) from the one whose right it is, such as her preventing enjoyment or leaving the marital home without permission. In such cases, her right to lodging is forfeited.

However, her being angry with the husband or insulting him does not forfeit her right to lodging.
