Filthy clothes must first be washed with water to remove the impurity before mixing them with other clothes in the washing machine. If the filthy clothes are washed with pure clothes in abundant water that removes the trace of the impurity and is not altered by it, then all of them become pure. However, it is preferable to wash the impure clothes separately with sufficient water to remove the impurity, while the water remains pure and unaltered.
