How is the inheritance calculated for the deceased's father, mother, full brother, and full sister?

If the deceased leaves no heirs except the mother, the father, and brothers and sisters, then the mother receives one-sixth due to the presence of a group of siblings, based on the verse: "And if he has brothers [and sisters], the mother will have one-sixth." The remainder goes to the father by ta'sib (agnatic inheritance), as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Give the prescribed shares to those entitled to them, and what remains is for the closest male relative." The full brothers or sisters receive nothing because they are excluded by the father, a complete exclusion. Thus, the inheritance is divided into six shares: the mother receives one-sixth (one share), and the father receives the remainder (five shares).
