Can the supplication of the oppressed be rejected?
If the afflicted person repents and regrets the sin that caused the tribulation, then their supplication may دفع this tribulation. Supplication is one of the most beneficial remedies and an enemy of tribulation. It has three positions in relation to tribulation: either it is stronger than it and repels it, or weaker and alleviates it, or they are of equal strength. It has been established that "Supplication benefits against what has descended and what has not descended," and "Nothing repels destiny except supplication." Therefore, whoever has wronged or been disobedient must rectify what they have corrupted and honor their parents, then strive in supplication to دفع the tribulation.
