Is it permissible to wear a necklace with the phrase: "For indeed, I am near"?

The phrase "فَإِنِّي قَرِيبٌ" (Indeed, I am near) is part of verse 186 from Surah Al-Baqarah. Wearing a necklace with something from the Quran on it, with the intention of protection and warding off harm, falls under the ruling of wearing amulets, which a number of verifying scholars consider prohibited. However, if the intention is adornment and not protection or warding off harm, then it is preferable not to wear it, out of fear of disrespecting the verse, such as discarding it in an inappropriate place, or entering the restroom with it, or exposing it to sweat. But if a woman knows that she will protect it from disrespect, then there is no harm in wearing it, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, wore a ring engraved with "Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah."
