What is the ruling on wearing gold (necklace) on which Ayatul Kursi or the name of Allah or a miniature of the Kaaba is inscribed?

There is no harm in wearing a gold necklace inscribed with a Quranic verse, or one of the Beautiful Names of Allah, or a miniature of the Kaaba, by analogy with the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, who wore a silver ring engraved with "Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah." The one who wears such an item must respect it, not treat it disrespectfully, and not take it into the restroom.
