The prohibition against exaggeration in religious or worldly work to the point of boredom and discontinuation is mentioned in the noble . The term "al-munabbit" (the one whose journey is cut short) is interpreted as someone whose mount is afflicted due to excessive travel, preventing them from reaching their destination. This Hadith encourages gentleness in worship, and this also applies to worldly affairs.
