Do names affect their bearers, and do the names of regions, villages, and cities affect their inhabitants?

Psychological studies have proven that a name has either a positive or negative effect on its bearer, and strange names can cause psychological complexes. The noble Sunnah has urged choosing names well, as the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The most beloved of your names to Allah are Abdullah and Abdurrahman." The Messenger, peace and blessings be upon him, changed the names of some Companions, such as changing the name "Asiyah" to "Jamilah" and "Barrah" to "Zaynab," and he was optimistic about the names of some of them. This ruling extends to the names of regions, villages, and cities, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, changed the name "Yathrib" to "Al-Madinah."
