What is the ruling on publishing topics about games—such as PlayStation—or reporting about them?

The ruling on publishing games is a branch of the ruling on the games themselves. If they are permissible, then it is permissible to publish them. If they are forbidden, then it is not permissible to publish them except for the purpose of warning against them. This is because publishing them is considered assisting in them, and the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever calls to misguidance, he will have sin like the sins of those who follow him, without diminishing their sins in the slightest."
