What are the rulings of the Hadith scholars regarding the addition found in the Hadith of the Mahdi, "and the name of his father is my father's name," which was narrated by Asim from Zirr and Abu Ishaq al-Shaybani, and who authenticated it and who deemed it weak?

Abu Dawud narrated the hadith of the Mahdi with several chains of transmission, all revolving around Asim ibn Abi al-Najud, in which the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "If there remained of the world but a single day, Allah would lengthen that day until He sent forth in it a man from me, or from my household, whose name will be my name, and whose father's name will be my father's name." Some narrations add: "He will fill the earth with justice and fairness as it was filled with oppression and tyranny." A number of imams have authenticated this hadith, including Al-Tirmidhi, Al-Dhahabi, Ibn Taymiyyah, and Al-Albani. In contrast, some hadith scholars have weakened other narrations of this hadith due to their weak or extremely objectionable chains of transmission.
