What is the ruling on praying with long nails and a shaved beard, and is the prayer accepted in this case? And what is the ruling on shaving a light beard for someone who is fifteen years old?

The prayer of one who prays with long fingernails is valid, and the prayer is not invalidated by the length of the fingernails, unless there is dirt under the fingernails that prevents water from reaching what is beneath them. Some scholars then consider the ablution invalid. A Muslim should trim their fingernails, as this is among the practices of fitra (natural disposition).

Shaving the beard is impermissible for one whom the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, commanded to let it grow. Whoever shaves their beard while knowing it is forbidden is sinful and must repent, but their prayer is not invalidated by this.
