The answer

Children are not held accountable, as the pen has been lifted from them until they reach puberty. However, guardians must protect them from sins and accustom them to acts of obedience. Judge Abu Bakr ibn al-Arabi said, "A child is a trust, and his heart is receptive to whatever he is inclined towards. If he is accustomed to good, he will be happy; if he is neglected, he will be miserable." It is incumbent upon the father to discipline him, guide him, teach him good manners, and protect him from bad company. Therefore, it is not permissible to send children to a school that teaches prohibited frivolities which lead to familiarity with evil deeds.
