Is it permissible to set a time for supplication, such as saying: "O Allah, I ask You that this month does not end until my debts are settled"? And is this considered an overstepping in supplication? And is it permissible to supplicate for lawful provision that is more abundant than the provision of so-and-so?

It appears that supplication in these two cases does not constitute transgression, as it contains nothing impossible or forbidden by Islamic law. Scholars have exemplified transgression in supplication by supplicating for something impossible or sinful, or by excessive loudness and shouting, or by seeking the status of a prophet.
