Is the consensus of the Tabi'in on a certain ruling invalidated if one or two individuals among them contradict it, explicitly stating that their disagreement is merely a personal opinion, while those who reached the consensus did not clarify the source of their argument?

The majority of scholars hold that the consensus (Ijma') which can be used as proof is the agreement of all qualified mujtahids of the Ummah after the death of the Prophet, peace be upon him, in any given era, on a religious matter. Accordingly, consensus is not established unless everyone agrees on it, and it is not valid if even a single mujtahid disagrees. Some, however, are of the view that consensus can be established even with the disagreement of one or two individuals.
