Is narrating amusing stories about some people or about personalities such as Juha, who is said to be among the Tabi'in, considered backbiting (Gheebah)?

Backbiting is mentioning about your brother that which he dislikes concerning his flaws, when those flaws are present in him. If they are not in him, then it is slander (buhtan). It is forbidden by the consensus of jurists and is considered among the major sins. Scholars have stipulated that backbiting only occurs concerning a person or people who are known, or who are vaguely referred to but whose identities are known to the listener, thus leading to the violation of their honor. Accordingly, there is no harm in narrating stories about individuals whom contemporary people do not know by name. As for Juha, he was mentioned in some books by scholars, but it has not been established that he was a known person. Verifiers like Ibn Hajar and Al-Dhahabi have weakened what suggests that he was Juha.
