Is ablution necessary after consuming camel milk, by analogy with its meat?

The majority of scholars hold that ablution (wudu') is not obligatory after consuming camel's milk, and this is the well-known position within the Maliki school of thought. The fundamental principle is that ablution is not invalidated, and there is no sound evidence to suggest that drinking camel's milk invalidates ablution. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, commanded the people who were afflicted with illness to drink from the urine and milk of camels. If drinking its milk were to invalidate ablution, he would have clarified that. As for the narrations that command ablution after consuming camel's milk, they are weak and cannot be used as evidence.
