Did the book "The Prophetic Sunnah Between the People of Fiqh and the People of Hadith" weaken authentic hadiths in Bukhari? Are there any criticisms against it? And is it recommended for a student of knowledge?

The Sheikh weakened some of al-Bukhari's hadiths, such as the hadith of hearing (Sama'), in which he agreed with Ibn Hazm, though it is an authentic hadith according to Ibn al-Salah, al-Iraqi, and Ibn Hajar. Some contemporary scholars have criticized this book on many issues, and it is better for the student of knowledge to benefit from the books of the esteemed ancients.
