Is the repeated falling into sins, despite being keen on the outward manifestations of the Sunnah and people seeking one out for Ruqyah, considered among the signs of hypocrisy?

1 min readAlso available in العربية

No one is safe from sins, and the most important thing is to rectify them with sincere repentance. Therefore, you must return to your Lord and have a good opinion of Him, and strive against your soul to abandon sins. For whoever is sincere in their striving, Allah will guide them, as He says: "And those who strive for Us – We will surely guide them to Our ways." If you return to sin, repent and do not despair of Allah's mercy, for He is Forgiving and Merciful. Combine fear and hope in your journey to your Lord; be fearful of your sins and hopeful for Allah's grace and mercy. Your fear of hypocrisy is a sign of good, so follow this fear with diligent work and striving in repentance and increasing good deeds.
