It is by Allah Almighty's mercy that He has permitted the sick person, for whom fasting is difficult and who fears an increase in their illness, a delay in their recovery, or severe pain from fasting, to break their fast and make up the days they missed. Therefore, if a trustworthy doctor informs you, or if you know through experience, that you cannot do without your medication, and that the close proximity of two doses would harm your health, then it is permissible for you to break your fast. You must make up the days you missed at a later time, whenever Allah grants you recovery.
