Does feeling regret over rejecting many suitors before becoming involved with someone who exploited circumstances cause the destruction of a girl's future, especially given society's view of a girl who has been previously involved?

It is not good for a girl to reject many suitors, lest it lead to a delay in her marriage and people becoming averse to her. A Muslim must be certain that the entire matter belongs to Allah, and that His decree and destiny are always best for him, and that good may be in what one dislikes, and evil in what one loves. So, if a suitor of good character and religious commitment comes forward, she should perform Istikhara and then agree.
