Is a woman considered sinful if she travels alone out of necessity, without a mahram, a distance of seven hours by bus?

If a woman is compelled to travel without a mahram (definition) due to a necessity deemed valid by Sharia (definition) or an urgent need, she bears no sin. This is based on the Almighty's saying: "But whoever is forced [by necessity], neither desiring [it] nor transgressing [its limit], there is no sin upon him. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful," and "And He has detailed for you what He has forbidden you, excepting that to which you are compelled." This is also supported by the jurisprudential maxims: "Necessities permit the prohibited" and "Harm is to be removed." There is an opinion among some scholars that permits a woman to travel for her needs with trustworthy company, even though the majority prohibits it.
