Is everything mentioned in the text about the Prophet Elijah (Ilyas), concerning his lineage, story, and the events associated with him, including what was narrated from Ibn Mas'ud that Elijah is Idris, and what was reported from Wahb ibn Munabbih and Al-Tabari, sound, acceptable, and to be believed?

What is mentioned in the Qur’an about Elias being a messenger from God must be believed as true. As for what was narrated by Wahb ibn Munabbih, it is not obligatory to believe it, because he used to take from the People of the Book, and their accounts are neither to be believed nor disbelieved unless there is something that confirms or refutes them. It is permissible to narrate them without believing or disbelieving them.
