A person afflicted with whispers (waswasah) is advised to disregard them and pay them no mind. What is seen on clothes and presumed to be impurity should also be disregarded, as the default is purity. If there is absolute certainty that a garment has become impure, it should be purified by pouring water over it. What is difficult to remove is excused. As for dirt other than impurities, its removal is not obligatory. There is no need to inspect clothes for impurity, as the default is its absence. This default is to be maintained until certainty to the contrary is established.
