What is the ruling on marrying maharim? And is it permissible for a person to supplicate to Allah daily for marriage to a woman from among the maharim whom Allah has forbidden to marry?

The forbidden women mentioned in the noble verse are not lawful for marriage. Therefore, it is not permissible to supplicate with such a request, as it constitutes the aggression forbidden in His Almighty's saying: "Call upon your Lord in humility and privately; indeed, He does not like aggressors" (Al-A'raf: 55).
