Is the intended meaning of "new clothes" on Eid to buy clothes that are only worn on Eid, or clothes in excellent condition even if they have been worn several times before Eid, and is it considered emulating the Sunnah to wear clothes in excellent condition even if they have been worn previously?

It is Sunnah for a Muslim to wear the finest clothes on Eid, as an expression of joy, happiness, and Allah's blessings. If one can afford new clothes, that is better; otherwise, they should wear the best of their existing clothes, following the example of the Prophet (peace be upon him) who used to wear his finest clothes on the two Eids and Fridays.
