What is the ruling on buying a phone with the word "Infinity" on it, or a product bearing the sign of the cross, with the intention of covering the cross after buying it?

We see no impediment to purchasing the aforementioned phone. The word "infinity" is neither a slogan for disbelief nor does it carry a polytheistic or false meaning. As for a product bearing the image of a cross, it should not be purchased, unless a Muslim needs it and buys it with the intention of dismantling, effacing, or removing the cross.
